I'm taking a survey.

What did everybody do for a job before, you know, coming here?

I think I had girl talk. Does that count as making a friend?

You could say that. Or a revolutionary. If I'd been more diplomatic and less impulsive I probably would have succeeded in my plans.

Wow, lots of revolutionaries here. Were you fighting oppressive regimes and things?

He doesn't care who knows it

I'm a wizard and my fellow wizards thought that they had to remain hidden from the rest of the world - the Muggles - the non-magical people... They were-- they are afraid and they have a rule of secrecy. I was trying to overturn that. To let everyone out of hiding and show the Muggles that wizards were not to be oppressed, murdered or used by them. Ultimately the plan would have been to have both Muggles and wizards living side by side in harmony - but I had too much resistance.

Indeed. It did become very messy.

Which is why I am now here, supposedly repenting for what I did.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 06:51 am (UTC)(link)
Is there a reason for this survey?

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 06:55 am (UTC)(link)
I'd be careful, my dear. I've been told that curiosity is an unwise thing, speaking from experience.

Some people can be dangerous when asked too many questions. Or evasive, at best.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 03:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't worry. I can take care of myself.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
No. A lot of people seem to think that, though.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Why would they think that if you're not?

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess human evolution is a foreign concept to a lot of people.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed... You think you are more evolved in some way?

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
What is more advanced about you?

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 07:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't think it was quite that flexible.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 07:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Electricity can do a lot, if you know how to use it right.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 07:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I've never had any use for it myself.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 07:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Then you weren't using it right.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I haven't used it at all. Wizards don't have this Muggle technology, though I do know of it. We have other ways for lighting and power.
