I'm taking a survey.

What did everybody do for a job before, you know, coming here?

I think I had girl talk. Does that count as making a friend?

Then you weren't using it right.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I haven't used it at all. Wizards don't have this Muggle technology, though I do know of it. We have other ways for lighting and power.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't really use it for power. I could, but there's way more fun things I'd rather be doing with it.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-23 09:56 am (UTC)(link)
I can think of more deadly things, not very fun.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-23 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Deadly and fun don't have to be mutually exclusive.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-23 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course not. They usually don't belong together at all.

Although inventing deadly things can be fun.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-24 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't need to invent deadly things to have fun. I am deadly.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
As long as you're deadly for the right reasons.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
I'm deadly for whatever reasons I want to be.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
That's the kind of attitude that will keep you trapped here for a very long time.

But good for you.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
What reasons do you invent deadly things for?

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
Spells and potions for defence and attack. There are many reasons to need such things. There are always dangerous people around - and wars, of course. Sometimes you need the element of surprise and something new that gives no prior warning can be very handy.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
I know a few things about the element of surprise.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
It is a valuable thing at times of crisis.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
It's not always polite to surprise people.

[identity profile] cautionarystory.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
It's usually even more fun when it's not polite.

[identity profile] wandthief.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
You're cheeky. I like that.
