Even with that, yes. I had a very interesting life. Whether that is a good or a bad thing is another matter for discussion.

Honestly, I do not know. Part of me thrived in the chaos, but for others' sake, I would have rather it been a normal life, yes.

I mean I lived in blood and died in blood, my life was always going to be full of violence, interesting, shall we say. But there were, are, people, who did not deserve to suffer through that. Many, many innocent people in my country did not deserve the war put upon them, especially when it turned out to be for, mainly, lies. Many soldiers did not deserve that.
