[private to Peter]
We're both ourselves, and so far nothing's tried to eat us. I remember a plan to run off into the sunset in the next port that wasn't awful.

Who's going to watch Adam if we leave?

andPeter, you have a ton of abilities. Nobody except Sylar is powerful enough to take you on. If you want to run away, nothing can stop us.
Let's try, okay? Let's just... walk away and see what happens.

Private - Wanna summarize the walk and plop them right back at the hotel?
Spam - after the failed escape plan and an argument about teleporting...
Shoving him hadn't made her feel any better, neither had electrocuting him - not that she'd electrocuted him hard. This was just... the worst day ever.]

It still felt like he'd let her down though, and that kind of guilt ate away at him.
He sighed quietly, and glanced over at her, deciding that ten minutes without saying anything was long enough.] "I'm really sorry."
Spam
He'd spent a long time making it perfectly clear that he wouldn't do what she wanted, no matter how she'd cajoled, bribed, or done that puppy face that usually made him do anything. So, as unwilling to let this go as she was, she was going to have to. For now.]
"C'mere," [she said softly, crooking a finger at him.]
Spam
"You gonna hit me again?"
Spam
Not that she wouldn't bring this up again later - Peter wasn't getting off that easy - and she was still upset at him, but if she was stuck on a prison ship she at least wanted to be stuck with him, and for him not to be upset with her.
She forced herself to smile.] "If that's a kink you haven't told me about."
Spam
"I'd rather not be hit at all."
Spam
She didn't move either, instead choosing to sulk with her arms crossed and her shoulders drawn up, waiting for him to do something or for something she could say that would magically fix the whole situation.]

[Her angry pout turned into an expectant stare as she studied his face, but it was probably obvious that she was still a bit ticked off, since her posture didn't change.]
Spam
[There wasn't an accusing tone to Peter's voice and he was far from picking another fight with her. He was just trying to win her back into a better mood and that kind of meant that he got increasingly adorable, whether he meant to do that or not.]
"If it'll really make you feel better, I guess you can hit me one more time."
Spam
It didn't really help.
Well, maybe a little.
She wanted to go off and sulk by herself, which was what she'd always done on the rare occasions that she'd been mad at Daddy. Peter, though... he was too cute to stomp away from.]
"Let's just forget about it. I don't wanna be mad anymore." [She reached out and latched onto his hand, idly stroking his fingers with her thumb, looking at that instead of at his face.]
Spam
"I just... want you to be safe, okay?" [He glanced up at her for a split second, squeezing her fingers again but this time on purpose.] "I can't let anything happen to you."

It was still relatively new for someone to care that much about protecting Elle - she was still getting used to it and she sort of wanted to just give in and enjoy being protected, even if she'd been raised to believe that was weak.
Finally, she looked back up at him and regarded his face curiously.]
"I know."
Spam
He leaned forward and pressed a kiss against her forehead, holding his mouth there for a long moment.]
"I love you."
Spam
It was okay not to be strong with Peter, she knew that. But she couldn't stop a tiny, instinctive flinch before she wrapped both arms around Peter's waist and squeezed tightly.]
"Love you too."
Spam
"Do you wanna do anything else while we're here? I think we have some time left."
Spam
[Elle wouldn't be opposed to going on a roller coaster again, even if they did tend to make her exceptionally staticy, but the lines tended to be hours long and they probably didn't have all that much time.]
"We could get dinner or something, like... a date?" [A real out-on-the-town date, not just some nice food and a little music in Peter's room.]
Spam
"I'd love that. There's a good seafood place around here if you want that. Or we can find something else."
Spam
[Elle tugged on the hand she was clasping, urging him towards the door. They probably only had a couple hours, and she wanted to spend as much time as possible out enjoying herself.] "Come on, let's go before the carriage turns back into a pumpkin, Prince Charming."
Spam
[Peter grinned at her, following her out of the room and leading her down the hall. Trying not to seem like he was hurrying but he was in a way, anxious to show off another part of the normal world that didn't suck.]
"Then you'd start walking funny."
Spam
[Elle smirked as she followed him down the hall, hurrying just as much as he was.
Waiting for the elevator was a pain, but when it arrived she pushed Peter inside and started kissing him. She didn't even bother pressing the button to take them to the ground floor, content to let the doors shut and the elevator to stay where it was.]
Spam
He kissed her back for a long moment before pulling away slowly, with a tiny happy sounding sigh.] "I think this is against the rules at Disneyworld, you know."
Spam
[Elle caught Peter's lips again, backing him up into the wall and gripping the railing on either side of his waist.]
"This is more fun than following the rules."
Spam - crap. sorry I hit the submit button because I'm a retard
"I like the rules."
Spam - no worries <3
[As the elevator started heading down, she leaned against the wall next to Peter and crossed her arms again. Maybe this was normal, although in the movies people were always making out in hotel elevators - even having sex in them. But if this really was normal, normal wasn't as fun as she'd always thought it would be.]
Spam
Without a word, Peter turned slightly and leaned over, placing a kiss against her cheek.]
"We'll break the rules later, okay?"
Spam
"Okay."
[She was determined to have the best first real date ever, and if that meant putting up with some stupid no-kissing-in-elevators rule, she'd do it. Peter probably knew better how real dates were supposed to go anyway.
But she was holding him to the rule-breaking later idea.
She grabbed his hand, watching her fingers lace through his before glancing back up at him. The elevator stopped and she gave his hand a tug towards the door.] "We better."
