087 - VOICE
[ooc: Elle and Howie ran into a combination of magical water and magical wood smoke that have ganged up on them and forced them to sing the things they're thinking (to, uh, borrow from BtVS a little). Elle accidentally switched her voice communicator thingie on. Oh, and this isn't to any tune in particular. You can just... make a tune up.
And yes, all replies will be in SONG FORM c: ...For which I apologize, because the rhymes are doomed to get worse the more lyrics I try to write.]
You'd think I wouldn't mind it
Or I'd even be behind it
After all, we need it to survive.
It's most of the earth's surface,
Takes way more space than the turf does.
But nonetheless, at this conclusion I've arrived:
Fire and air may be profuse,
Dirt's so-so but it's got it's use,
But if all the water were to disappear,
No chagrin of mine would be sincere.
More often than not, it causes pain,
I'd much rather bathe in champagne
And I can brush my teeth with Listerine.
I'd survive off soda or lemonade,
Milkshakes or coffee or Gatorade.
I don't need water to live or keep clean.
I know it's absurd but a girl can dream,
Of a waterless world, though it sounds extreme.
If there were no water, I wouldn't be singing,
I wouldn't have a headache, my ears wouldn't be ringing.
Fire and air may be profuse,
Dirt's so-so but it's got it's use,
But if all the water were to disappear,
No chagrin of mine would be sincere.
