[She rolls closer to him, taking a moment to settle in once she's on her side and pressed against him.]
"And you're the only one I want, anyway."
[And while she's confessing, since Libby knows and will probably blab about it...]
"This was, like, years ago, but you know how I slept with some guy to see what it was like? Some guy was Adam. But we're not... like that anymore. Adam's just... my friend."
[True enough, even if she'd kissed Adam a lot more recently than years ago, but they're doing the just friends thing now. And even though she's far too terrified of putting a foot wrong to admit the whole truth, she still expects Peter to be mad.]
"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. But we're just friends now, promise."
[And if she tells herself that omitting isn't the same as lying, she doesn't have to feel too bad about it. She thinks.]
